PhD Programme

  • KaviKrishna has collaborated with different universities and institutes of India and ouside India. These institutes include Gauhati University, Assam Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, Harvard University, Massachusetts.
  • KaviKrishna's research students are affiliated to these universities under co-guideship of Dr. Bikul Das, Principal Investigator of KaviKrishna.
  • KaviKrishna provides research training to students to become eligible to enroll into PhD, sponsor and guide to successfully complete their PhD.
  • Students who are enthusiastic to work on stem cell altruism can send their CV and letter of intent to Dr. Das to obtain training under him and KaviKrishna's research team

BCIL trainee

  • On behalf of Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) is implementing BITP since 1993, a scheme of practical industrial training for B.E./ B.Tech./ M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.V.Sc./ MBA Biotechnology and Bioinformatics students.
  • The objective of this progamme is to provide industry-specific training to Biotech students for skill development and enhancing their job opportunities in biotech industry.
  • This programme provides an opportunity to Biotech Industry for training and selecting suitable manpower.
  • The training period is for six months during which a trainee is paid stipend.
  • We have been training BCIL trainee since 2018. Until now, 2 BCIL trainee has completed training at KaviKrishna Laboratory.

Internship programs

  • There are 1/2 months internship programs in KaviKrishna Lab during the whole year.
  • At a time maximum 5 students can join the internship program.
  • The application form is attached in the website. If someone wants to apply for the internship, they can fill up the form and send to the offcial email address.

Semester Projects

  • BSc. And MSc Biotech/Microbio students can have their semester projects based on their research interest and based on resear ch areas available in the lab.
