It is a technique widely used in molecular biology and biotechnology to separate biological macromolecules, usually proteins or nucleic acids, according to their electrophoretic mobility. This is a part of our western blotting experiment to study the expression of stemness protein in cancer cells or mesenchymal stem cells

CO2 Incubator

This is a must needed facility to maintain cell and tissue culture. It creates a natural environment for the cells to grow properly. It maintains 37degree centigrade with 5% Co2

Anaerobic Jar

This is used to grow and culture anaerobic micro-organisms. We also use this jar to study the cellular behavior and host pathogen interaction of cancer stem cell and Mycobacterum tuberculosis under hypoxic condition.

In vivo animal house

We have C57BL/6 and white balb-C mice in our in vivo animal facility . We regularly maintain this facility for our in vivo serial transplantation assays.

Elisa Plate Reader

The ELISA reader is an instrument which is used to detect the presence of protein in a liquid sample.ELISA Plate reader is used to detect and process biological and chemical data using absorbance, luminescence, and fluorescence detection modes, including intensity, TRF, and polarization. These plate readers are used in drug discovery, research and bioassay validation and biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

We are using this plate reader mainly to observe the expression of different stemness proteins in cancer cells or mesenchymal stem cells

Western blotting equipments

Western blotting is a widely used technique by research and clinical labs to detect proteins with their specific antibody. It is used as a general method to identify the presence of a specific single protein within a complex mixture of proteins. A semi-quantitative estimation of a protein can be derived from the size and color intensity of a protein band on the blot membrane.

Soxlet Apparatus

Extraction of different parts such as leaves, root and seed of plants. We use this to find out squalene related isoprenoid molecules from the plant extract which can be use to target cancer stem cell
