About KaviKrishna Telemedicine Care
KaviKrishna Telemedicine Care (KTC) supports cancer patients across Assam from its centre on College Road, Sualkuchi. With roots dating back to 1994 and formal registration under KaviKrishna NGO in 2010, KTC has grown into a dedicated centre for compassionate cancer care. We bring together knowledge, empathy, and community support to help patients and their families navigate the challenges of cancer with dignity, strength, and hope.

A Community-Centred Approach
Rooted in Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS), KTC prioritises accessible communication and continuous engagement with cancer patients and their families. Led by Dr. Bikul Das and his dedicated team, home visits help us understand each patient's living conditions, livelihood, hygiene, and support needs, ensuring that care extends beyond medical treatment to include emotional reassurance and practical guidance

Home Visits and Experiential Learning
At KaviKrishna Telemedicine Care, home visits create meaningful connections between patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams. Under the guidance of Dr. Bikul Das, interns accompany the team to understand the realities of living with cancer. These experiences enrich their learning, develop empathy, and highlight the importance of family involvement, community engagement, and compassionate support throughout the cancer care journey
Empowering Patients and Families
Through regular home visits and patient education, KTC empowers individuals and families with knowledge about cancer and guidance on communicating with healthcare professionals. By building trust, reducing information gaps, and encouraging informed participation, we help patients navigate their care with greater confidence. Our approach fosters a supportive community where awareness, dignity, and shared responsibility bring renewed hope to every cancer journey.
